Adding or removing a product type

1. In left-hand side menu, click "Shop" > "Manage Product Types" > "Add New".

2. Enter the product type name, select a color, and click "Save".

Note: If you set "Allow Variants" to "Yes"; when adding products to the shop there will be an option to add different sizes. This is mostly used when adding products like clothes, footwear, etc..

3. To remove a product type, click "Action" > "Remove" > "Yes".
If the product type you're removing was already in use, it is a reference to other data records and cannot be removed but rather transferred and merged with another product type. Please select a different product type to transfer these records.
