Every text message has a status code which describes the current state of the text message. The table below includes status codes returned from the system. Use these codes to evaluate and troubleshoot your text message sends.

Pending Approval |
The text message is pending for approval. |
| Pending Delivery | The text message has been accepted by SchoolMind and will be delivered to the provider. |
| Delivered to Provider | The text message has been delivered to the provider by SchoolMind. Please check the "response_status" field for information from the provider. |
| Provider Accepted | The test message provider supplied that the text message has been accepted, and soon will be delivered to the end user. |
| Provider Delivered | The text message provider supplied that the text message has been delivered to the end user. |
| Delivery Failed |
The provider supplied that the text message has failed. Please check the "response_error" field for information from the provider. |
We cannot guarantee the delivery of text messages to end users. SchoolMind will only deliver the text message to the provider and then update with status when available.
