Adding a class

To add a class in SchoolMind, do the following:

1. In the left-hand side menu, click Institution > Manage Classes > Add New.

2. Enter the class name, short name, grade, select a color.

Further below select the mark template type the class will use, choose whether descriptive marks will be used for this class, and select the attendance template.

Lastly, set the limits for the following:

• Maximum Number of Periods Per Day
  Determines the maximum number of periods a class can have in a single day.
• Maximum Number of Assignments Per Day
  Determines the maximum number of assignments (homework) a class can have in a single day.
• Maximum Number of Exams Per Day
  Determines the maximum number of exams (tests) a class can have in a single day.
